We have recently changed our business name from Rich Funeral Home to Maltbie Funeral Services. Although our name is changing, we will be providing the same outstanding service on which we have built our reputation in the community.
This funeral home has served Southeast Colorado for the past 85 years. The funeral home has always been and remains family owned and operated.
Ervin (Erv) and Coral Maltbie purchased the funeral home in August of 2007. Since becoming the Funeral Director Erv has become a Certified Funeral Director through the State of Colorado and continually strives to keep in step with the changes and demands in the funeral industry. Erv continues to study and attend seminars to maintain his certification. “Maltbie Funeral Services” is an active member of The National and Colorado Funeral Directors Associations.
We take pride in offering modern, comfortable facilities, having a staff that is kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable, as well as being dedicated to providing the very best service and care possible. We truly provide CARE WITH DIGNITY.
We understand that each family is unique and each family has different needs and desires. We do all that we can to meet those needs and provide a memorial service that is just as unique as the individual. We also understand that grief does not look the same for each individual; therefore we offer ongoing grief support even after the service is over. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.
